Membership Fees
Full year (Feb-December) $60 unchanged from previous years
Six months (Feb-July) $35
Mid-year (Aug-Dec) $30
Please note: a slight change to the half-yearly membership rates, reflecting a difference in the number of films but (more importantly) encouraging annual membership, which carries an extra 'perk' in the form of being able to bring one non-member as a guest to a screening per year.
To join or renew your membership, please e-mail the Treasurer, Angus McLachlan to give him your name and email address. [note - we don't include email addresses here to avoid having them 'scraped' by bots, but you can reach Angus by clicking on the word e-mail]
Membership can be paid by bank transfer in advance (preferred method) or with cash at the venue (Bank details are provided on the printed or PDF program poster, rather than here, to avoid online harvesters picking them up).
Because of the special conditions under which the Federation of Victorian Film Societies negotiates heavily discounted distribution fees for the films we screen, we are unable to sell tickets for individual films.
Entry is for members and guests only, with each full-year member invited to bring a guest free once a year, and potential members invited to attend one free screening before joining up.
Please note that memberships are not transferable, but we have kept the cost down so that missing a film or two, as most people do, leaves the average cost per screening at well under $10.
